Son-in-law bought a domain today with email forwarding and he's having problems setting Outlook up to show the domain instead of his Orange addy on sent mail. If he changes the address in the User Information box, he gets a failure on the "Test Account Settings", his mail appears in the 'Sent' box but doesn't arrive at the destination (me). I've never had this problem with Outlook Express, I can put anything like "firstname.lastname@example.org" as an address in an account and it works. Is Outlook the problem or Orange or what? ------- Solved, you have to fool Outlook with a second send-only account. The bad thing is, 123-Reg don't have this information available.
