MY Extreme VOlcano 12 HSF came in the other day, so I decided to OC is a bit. The FSB was 200mhz before then I upped it 210mhz, booted fine. Then I set it to 23MHZ and it wouldnt boot, so I did the jumper thing and got taht fixed. Why wont it go past 230mhz?

Maybe thats the limit for that chip. Also how far out of spec are you running your ram?

It can be voltages on ram or cpu try upping them both if thats no help then its either your ram or cpu thats holding you there,

edit. oh and it could be your Motherboard,

Looks like the ram, 2700 @ 230 fsb.... thats most likely the limiting factor... what voltages are you using?

Got to agree the RAM looks like the likely problem, as its only rated to 166 MHz (200 should be close to its limit if its good)
