The time has come for me to upgrade my memory. Now I don't have much experience with overclocking but I would like to get some overclocking friendly memory. I really need 2GB and would prefer some low-latency Cosair because if I don't overclock I will still get a benefit. The problems is from here on in I'm pretty lost. I would really like it for below £200 but is this asking too much? Would I be better getting some cheaper memory and not overclocking?

    New PC Specs-

    AMD 4200+
    Asus A8N SLI Deluxe
    Geforce 7800GT

If I need to give you any more info please ask. Thanks for any help.

He speaks the truth. Most Ballistix 1GB sticks should do 2.5-2-2-5 @ 200MHz (maybe 2-2-2-5) and 3-3-3-8 up to 270+ with a good memory controller. Highly recommended ;)

As I'm buying a whole PC I was hoping to have it all in one delivery, I'm going to be ordering from Scan but they seem to have some agreement with Cosair and don't sell any other memory. But I don't mind having to pay more postage if it means I get a better deal. So would the OCZ Deal of the Week on OCUK be the best to go for? I don't really want to risk not been able to set the timings to low latency of the Ballistix...

    One final question...

If I order my stuff now, then it should get dispatched tomorrow so is it worth paying for saturday delivery? (Ordering from OCUK)

Just choose Special or Recorded. Saturday Premium is not worth it.
