The 400fsb P4 will operate on a quad pumped 100Mhz bus.

The 533fsb P4 will operate on a quad pumped 133Mhz bus.

The bottom line: The 533Mhz fsb bus CPU will be faster, if the cpu speed is like for like. For example a 2.4 P4 on a 400Mhz bus (denoted by being called a 2.4A) will be slower than a 2.4 on a 533Mhz bus (denoted by being called a 2.4B).

    This help?

    :)

    just a quickie ...
if ya considerin overclockin it at all..
i'd steer clear of th 2.0gig chip as from th experiences of myself and a couple of friends th 2.0 is harder to push..
can't really say owt about th 2.4 (or any others apart from my 1.6a) tho as i haven't been lucky enuff to lay me hands on one yet
