Pakistani minister says Muslims would be right to launch suicide attacks

Extremists are just that -- extremes. However when they start representing the average majority, you have to start asking yourself what our contribution is to that relationship. The problem is that we don't leave them alone. The problem is that over the last century, we seem to have been feeling an unreasonable sense of over-entitlement to their oil. We have been screwing about with the Middle East for a long time. Now they have decided to screw us right back. Acting the murdered innocence is not going to help.

I mentioned in another thread that for both the Palestines and Israeli, the transition to adulthood is demarcated by an almost ritual holding of a machine gun for the first time. Both sides are locked into the same dynamic. The same comparison can be made for a fundamentalist East and West. They kill and die for Allah; we kill and die for money. Same difference.
