    Well, even if it was real it downloads at like 20kb/s. So by the time you would actually get it, it would have come out and been downloaded if you have a fast enough connection.

    What do you mean "if it was real"? The Bioshock PC demo most certainly is real - but I believe it's only available for download to Fileplanet subscribers?

    Unfortunately... their servers are being hit so much at the same time, and the download speeds so slow, that you could have bought and be playing the full retail game (it's due for release this coming Friday - 24th August) by the time you finished downloading the demo :rolleyes:


    Anyways... there's absolutely no way I'm accepting to download a file somebody has directly linked to (as The Stig has done there) :idea:

    I downloaded from that mirror, it's fine.

    Anyway the demo is very short, although it's pretty amazing:D
    A few piccies, all in dx9 mode of course.

    Looks sweet on PC Silver Shamrock.

    I doubt my AMD 64 3700, 1GB, ATI 1600PRO would run it well if at all.

    texture detail seems better than the xbox demo, dont know if im just imagining that.

    Could be because the 360 runs at 1366x768 max or 480i and I think the screenies above are 1650x1080~

    Running at my monitors native 1440x900. It runs very smooth with max settings @ that res without a hiccup. Very impressive.

    downloading it now. i cant wate to see it at 1600*1200, just hope my gfx card can make it look good at that res :lol:

    Where are you people getting it from?! I can't get anything at a decent speed!

    All the torrents I've found are going at 10kb/s max :(

    I'd recommend newsgroups or torrents right now. You get average speeds for torrents with some small bursts but all the mirrors of this game are currently being so raped that it's faster on torrents.
