PCI cooling

    well its not extreme, or daring, and it doesnt involve water, but it cools pretty well...

    i took 2 fans, zip tide em together and attached em to a pci cover thingy and put it under my graphics card for gfx card cooling goodness :) tell me what u think

    Is that 2 zipties holding the two fans together in line ? :eyebrow:


    Is it strong enough to keep them straight?

    heh yeh it is, and yeh it does.. i just tightened em real good.. the hard part was puttin the fans onto the PCI slot thing but a lil hot glue did the trick

    it may of been easier, or not :S if you just drilled a couple of holes to the pci blanking plate and then zip tied the fan to the plate!
    well its an idea!

    I'm interested in the noise levels, as I'm looking for a "quiet" way to get rid of my 50mm fan on my graphics card :)
