I really want tv on my laptop, but i dont know what usb tv thingy to go for!??!?! but i dont want to carry an arieal around either is it possible? cheers ps, its only a sony viao 700mhz picture book so i cant be too processor intensive!

moved to hardware. Well, because it's a lappy, you will want something external. I just got approached today by a manufacturer that would do something like what you are looking for. The problem is, as you said. The reception. Without some sort of CATV or satellite connection, you're only other choice would be an arial. both gainward and leadtek have external USB devices for bringing in TV to a PC.
