Soo many to choose from! I've not even looked at the ones I just took today! Anways, here they are! Note - Some have been posted in another thread, but are valid possible entries I wanted to inlcude. Water Gushing Over Stairway. About to Explode! Bad Leak. (crop of above) Dam Water Fall Runaway. Dam Water Fall. Falling Water frozen in Time. So, What do you all think? Also, should I just post this in the POTM forum and then just have one final choice at the end?
The last one does it for me, I really like that one. Probably top POTM entry candidate tbh. For the others, i'd probably want to go for a more flowing look by using a ND filter and longer exposure.
Great, now that's all I can look at Dont get me wrong, all superb shots, but for submission 2 and last are the best of a good bunch.
First or last one, probably the latter. I'm hoping to get out this weekend and get at least on of mine for this month
Thanks. I see if its nice enough today to retake the last one from the other side (and get the pipes out of the picture) As far as shooting with an ND filter, I can't because I don't have any I'll get some along with my purchase of the 24-70 F/2.8L though (whenver that happens.) I may have a couple more to add as I took some at another park last night.
Personally, I like the last two. The last one is very nice, even if the pipes are a tad distracting. Maybe burn them in a little bit to help push them to the background. The waterfall shot has an interesting perspective to it, but you might try adding a little tone to those blown highlites on the left side. I would be interested to see that shot with a slightly slower shutter speed, as well. -monkey
the second till last one is the best imo. the rest don't do much for me. the last one would be really good if the droplets were sharp and in focus. but as they arn't it just doesn't quite work for me.
These are pretty awesome pictures... I myself need to go beyond being "family photographer" Cause you can't go far with that title... =) This is the best I could do : ha ha
And here is another. "Lumpy Water" For those that look at the folder date I am using, I'm too lazy to make a new folder Yesterday was a bad day for photos. It was cloudy and dark with lots of people about. Today looks nice and sunny on the other hand, and seeing as how monday is a holiday for most of us here, there are plenty of people gone away.
*BUMP* And here is another image! Double Water Droplets. I think I may have a go at the green in the image. Most likely from grass and bushes around. EDIT: and another, just a closer shot of the one above. Falling Water Frozen in Time - Crop Falling Water Stream:
