"UFO websites have claimed for years that Captain Schaffner was abducted by an alien spacecraft as he flew his Lightning jet along the British coast."

Looks like another UFO story has been debunked.

What ever happened to Amelia Earhart? Was she really adbucted by aliens or did she just crash somewhere?

Surely she's the next person who needs to be found!

Nope, she's living in Mexico with Elvis and Tupac.

I love any scientific attempt to debunk the crap that many people believe, and lots of people spend money on. Psychics spring to mind.

James Randi (www.randi.org) has a MILLION DOLLARS in bankers bonds available for any person that can, in scientifically observed surroundings, display ANY supernatural ability. He hounds Uri Gellar (the fraud who claims he can bend spoons with his "mind") to come and make a quick million bucks. I mean, it should be easy, right? He gives the same treatment to noted "psychics"

Any attempt to make the world smarter and less gullible is A Good Thing.

Off to buy some healing magnetic bracelets,
