I think they kinda ran out of ideas, but hopefully if we do make it, the docco will cost $10k and they can spend the other $90k on making the game awesome.

Just because a stretch goal is 100k from the last one, doesn't mean that money is for that particular stretch goal. The reward isn't proportional to what you pay for the stretch. It's simply a reward for raising x amount of money.

Well kickstarter take a cut of the total as do amazon for each transaction . I believe it it is 5% each so thats about $180,000 gone, not to mention the end of year taxes, factoring in shipping costs etc

True, but if they're planning on bringing in an external team to make the documentary then the cost is actually pretty high.

That will have been factored in their initial financials. They'll know that they won't get every dollar pledged due to failed transactions, the slice that Kickstarter and Amazon take etc etc. They won't turn round and say "Hi guys, you actually only raised $1.75m after these bits, so no Galaxy War!".

I've pledged now, and just because I want a great orchestral score. Loved TA's, still listen to it occasionally, along with Frank Klepacki's work on the early C&C's.

Yep, blasted past $2m so that's the orchestral score in the game.

11 hours to go, and $70k to raise for the documentary. Which I couldn't give to hoots about in any case!

    Moar money for uber! :D

Since the project has met the funding, is it worth putting more money to it or not?

Why not, moar is always better. It would give them the ability/security to work on it for longer, providing a better result.

As I recall it's for early beta, but as I'm quite fond of TA as the others I went for Alpha.

Check my mail and there is an ending stream (semi live), shame I'll miss the end.
