Very Nice Article TiTch, surprised you did'nt post it, U Really are TOO modest http://www.gibtek.co.uk/misc/planning.html
watch that res titch its a pos.....dont run any sorta water wetter through it as u will void ur warrenty.....most people that have used that res said it died within 5months....within 1 week if they used water wetter....
Expect to see all sorts of watercooling on our site and links to it from here. We could post here but threads are harder to find the older they get, this way we can reference it and catalogue it more easilly for you peeps. My planning article will be up soon, not as a major project as TiTch's but will cover the noobs faq's. If you need a particular element of watercooling covered on the site then let us know.
Thanks, I think its inpolite to plug myself. I have got well carried away with this project. Glass, neon string, uv etc etc. I'll do my next writeup this weekend, but I'm in the land of electrics with relays etc which is a total nightmare. As to the res Haddy, I have run it on wetter water since May last year. It has been very reliable. It looks nice, easy to use and the european pump (different to the US one due to voltage difference) is fine, just weak. Warrenties, arn't those the thing I void all the time with modding and overclocking.
thats true forgot its a euro version pump.....maybe its diff for that but i know that the us version has problems......btw electronics are fun as hell....shock urself with 120v and ull feel real good (when u pick urself up off the floor)
Try 240V with damp hands, now that will give a good kick. Once as a kid I tried stripping some wires on my Dad's shaver with my teeth. If only I had remembered to unplug it from the mains! True storie!
wuz wiring up an old house...the wires werent color coded right.....thought my buddy had turned off the power tothe house....lets just say when my hands stoped shakin there wuz an azz kickin like nobody has ever seen.... very nice mashie....like that pump bracket
