Did you ever get any wins? I did own this game for 1 hour before a refund but I keep thinking I should get it again
Been playing this a fair bit over the last few days. There are about 8 of us who have it in our group so usually have a team of 4 going. There's a lot to like about this game, though I've not played any of the other similar games (h1z1) to compare. I find solo to be much easier than groups (best place 5th so far though). Getting the jump on one guy and killing him is much easier than getting the jump on 3/4 guys and not trading kills! The month 1 update contains a huge amount of changes to stuff that was niggling in the game, which is pretty comforting to see.
Given that 'PlayerUnkown' (Brendan Greene) originally created the battle royale mode in DayZ and was a consultant on H1Z1:KOTK..... not much different honestly... Except it's a Korean Dev studio which is a bit different.
Slizza as Edwards says we're loving it, might be able to make room for one more. Get me on steam @ modd1uk
I can't seem to get it running very well on my PC, but I've read it doesn't like low-end machines very much and has little optimisation Back to KotK I guess!
Yeah, it's not too fantastic at the moment on that front and the servers are fairly laggy which doesn't help things. Early days though.
Sounds good, but I feel a bit churlish saying that it looks expensive at £27 for 1 map. Maybe when it settles down price wise and there's more content, I'll look again. I'd like to play with the LAN guys and gals, but I know they wouldn't shell out for it either.
They are releasing more maps at some point but no idea when. Yeah £27 does seem steep, but the game is quite good and the updates are quite regular. As long as you are prepared to die a fair bit this game is good but tense fun
Thanks, Mr H. More content sounds good, sounds like a small operation making the game after all. Dying lots, yeah I'm good at that
I understand the development team is actually of a decent size, its a korean studio called Blue Hole Studio. They made the MMO 'TERA' if you've heard of it?
the dev team are spot on and when a monthly update hits there is content in it not just padding so far its just got better and better
That sounds more promising; actual progress and your money going to do something useful I'll follow with interest, but not ready to jump in yet
Just have a look on twitter for @toonerdev @panky @poopiequeen and of course @PUBATTLEGROUNDS they really good at showing what they working on. The new 5.56 AK and pso cope looks good and the VSS Vintorez is
