I have been given some money for my birthday and now finally have enough money for a new rig:clap::clap:
any way I have a couple of questions about my spec.
    here it is:
    Intel Core 2 Quad-Core Q6600
    Asus P5Q-E
    Corsair Twinx XMS2 (2x2GB) PC2-6400
XFX Geforce GTX 260 XXX 896MB
    Lian Li PC-7 Plus
    Corsair HX 620w
    Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 (500GB)
    Asus 2014L1T
    Akasa 966 Blue Aurora

firstly will the long gfx card fit in the case?
also is 620w too mch for this system?
    thanks in advance
    dave

that corsair 620 is what I usually suggest people buy so stick with it. Everything looks good, but I have no idea if that card will fit in that case.

The card will fit in the case but I would suggest the 4850 or 4870, both very good cards and best bang for the buck.
I would say the 620 is overkill, HX529 would best suit in my opinion.

thanks guys i have just ordered it:clap::clap::clap: and it should arrive on weds. (also apparently according to my invoice scan still have free shipping, ssssh!!!)
@davevader: i know ATI have some good cards but i am a bit of a green fanboy! also i plan to add several hdds and the like in the future, i know this still won't reach 600w but still it is nice to have the flexibility.

Seems like a nice build. Q6600s come so cheap these days they IMO still are a nice choice for even new builds...
