I searched all over Google and got no real help, so hopefully someone here knows the answer. For some reason my tab key no longer jumps my cursor from one field to another. The keyboard is fine (Logitech Cordless), it's just a weird thing that's going on. I've had the same problem in the past a couple times, but I can't remember what I did to fix it. I saw plenty of posts on Google where people were looking for help, but no one was given an answer.

It's not doing the same thing as Alt+Tab, as that function actually works just fine. It simply loses focus on the current window (of any program) and refuses to jump to the next field (such as when filling out forms).

    :waah:

low battery maybe ? Are you using rechrangables? Since they only function @ 1.2V compared to normal batteries running @ 1.5V.....

How would that only affect one key though and not the whole board?

    how old is the keyboard?
    it could just be dirty.

other than that see if the coursor works with another keyboard.

The age has nothing to do with it; the same thing happened 2 years back when it was still pretty new. I just forget how the problem was eventually fixed. This is more of an OS setting than anything, I'm just not sure what.

Have you tried the keyboard on another computer?

It could also be a defect in the wiring, open it up and look for anything out of the ordinary.
