    Ok here’s the problem

Every now and again my PC Locks and the sounds is stuck on what note it was playing at the time.
This happens when playing games and watching movies on various different players, (happens most on watching movies) Since this problem has been with me, I have clean installed XP Home and tried moving the cards around etc, but to no avail.

The only thing that helps a bit was to put the vcore up to 1.775 it still locks but no so often.

    Any Ideas?

Have you got the latest detonators?

Also what temps are you getting?

I have the 29.42 Dets and the sys temps are 40 idle 46 load

The system is 8 months old, and still did the same with a old Creative Geforce 2 GTS.

    and it's a TI4400 ;)

Well I'm almost out of ideas. It could be a duff board or chip, try upping the voltage some more, just keep an eye on the temps. Also have you tried removing the soundcard?
