I'd just try PTFE tape first, the simplest solution is usually the best with plumbing I find!

I'll give it a whirl, next job is getting the cartridge out, thankfully its after the taps so no need to turn off the water.

To be honest, if you are going through the whole hassle of disassembling it - it probably wouldnt hurt to replace the cartridge anyway if you are in a hardwater area.
It might just be the rubber washer has given up on life, you can usually just reverse them or replace them for new ones. - Should be a standard size.

Was just about to suggest it - cartridge will be the issue, skip to the end and replace it, don't bother trying to bodge with PTFE, it can just cause more issues than it solves tbh. :)

Unless it's a really crappy one it'll be pretty well marked in my experience, I actually found Screwfix have a really good range of cartridges - it sounds daft but I wasn't expecting them to, as their stock depth isn't usually that good.

My usual routine for diy parts is, screwfix - toolstation, Wickes - travis Perkins. If they don’t have it, then dreaded eBay or AliExpress.
