Graphics Possible Upgrade

    I'm wondering what would be a worthy upgrade choice of a 7970 Ghz edition, I was looking at the Asus Strix GTX 980 or the 290x.

    I'll be honest if went for the Asus GTX 980 would be first nvidia card I have had since my 8500GT.
