ok lets start with the oldies.....

Powerbook 140, System 7, 40Mb Hard Drive, 4Mb RAM - Can't believe I did Photshop and Illustartor on it and got away with it (ah Virtual Memory!)

Powerbook 5300, System 8, Genuine Road Apple only used as a 'bridge' between current mac and the 140 (G4<ethernet>5300<appletalk>140 :duh: )

    and something slightly newer

Powerbook G4, 10.3.8, 250 times as much RAM as the 140 :eeek:

also featured are, Newton Message Pad 120, 2G iPod (10Gb), 4G IPod (40Gb) and iPod Shuffle (1Gb), Apple ADB Mouse II (replaced the harsher lines of the ADB I mouse), iSight, SoundSticks etc etc

not featured is the Mac Mini, which is hopefully finding it's way into TNT's mitts as we speak for delivery to me

and finally for fun, my last smily mac before stevo killed it with (the admittadly nice grey apple) prior to the jag-wire upgrade

    Hmmm

I have a very very very old powerbook somewhere in the attic. Should look up the number. I think its 150 or something.. :blah:

I just got myself a more recent Powerbook.

    12 ", 1,5Ghz G4, 768 mb RAM, 80GB HD, Bluetooth 2, Airport Extreme, DVD +/- burner, ...

    And I'm a proud owner of a 20GB 3Gen iPod!
I'll try and get a picture next week.

Looking into a Shuffle 1GB atm.. but don't have the money to spare.. just bought the powerbook so..

It has nothing to do with luck. He simply decided to invest his money in a computer.

My 12" 1GHz iBook. Love it to bits. Since getting it about 9 months ago I use it far more than a PC at home. Still use the PC for games, but this thing rocks!

Glad that there's an Apple forum on here now, found myself spending more time on Hexus because they've had one for a while. Perfect for Mac addicts who still like their PC's......!

The dell monitor I'm using appears to be a black version of that, but with "DELL" in the middle, rather than LG off to the left!

    Cheeky rebranding....

PS: I own no apple products: I've seen enough at school.

ive got a 4G 20 gig iPod as does my sister, and my mom inherited my sisters old 3G 15 when she got her 4G, so we're wired for tunes here :D eventually, i want to get a G3 lombard powerbook to play around with. ive been into the hardware/software side of macs (mainly thru research and school macs) for quite a few years...around 5, but ive been steeped in PC my whole life and now want a new challenge. or just something 'new' to play with. :D

Powermac dual g5 1.8GHz, 1.5GB RAM (need more!), 80GB + 160GB hd. I use it just for work (graphics design, video editing etc.) so no games or anything else not work related there (I've still got a PC for that)

Well no digi cam so I'll post pics of what I got.

    Apple IIc
    [IMG]
First computer I ever touched, we had them in elementary and used them to practice typing on. Oh man that sucked so bad, the keyboard has to be the worst I've ever touched. Now all the little kids get to practice on the school's eMacs, lucky.

    Mac SE/30
    [IMG]
Got this Mac just recently from a friend, runs pretty good, except the screen is burnt in and is starting to die from heavy use of the previous owners.

    Mac Color Classic
    [IMG]
Favorite Apple computer I own, it's just so, just so, great! The colors are pretty crisp for what it has and the design is so unique, I <3 it! lol. And the best part is, I got it for free! This stayed basically in the family, my cousins bought it new and they gave it to me because I wanted it, it's a gem. Now all I have to do is track down a network card so I can get dsl on this bad boy! :naughty:

    PowerBook 520c
    [IMG]
To tell you the truth, Idk why I bought this, but I paid $75shipped for it. But it's a nice laptop, but the screen is iffy. It has the horrid dual scan lcd which is two smaller lcds to form one and it's so muddy. That's the only thing I really hate about this laptop. People said it was bad screen, but I didn't think that bad, all well, it's a cool laptop, has programd like excel and word which is pretty nice surprise. Also the battery life is kinda good, last about 2 hours which is good for how old it is.

P.S. if you haven't noticed, I am a Apple collector, I <3 old Compack Macs the best and the best part is you can usaully find alot of old Apples for give away! (rofl at old apples  )
