Congratulations to March POTM winner -equilerex-

The theme for April as chosen by the past months winner is "Sci-fi"
Elaborated as "something hi-tech / futuristic"

    Remember:
Anyone can participate as soon as you have an account on the bit-tech forums.
Newcomers will benefit from reading the rules.
In short: the image must be taken after the theme has been announced and should be submitted in both a thread in the Art & Photography section as well as to the voting website http://potm.webshaped.com.

    Happy shooting!

I'm off for the weekend so I won't be closing the competition until monday at noon GMT.

So here's your chance to go get those futuristic sci-fi shots that you thought you wouldn't have time for :)

    Happy snapping!

I think I tried to be too clever this month and realised that shots I wanted to do were going to involve too much photoshop to meet bit's rules or required liquid latex, that I don't have, or possibly an expensive make-up artist. Sheesh why can't I think of something low-tech for scifi, more BBC than hollywood

I just spoted what would have made an excellent Sci-Fi/Gaming shot. Can't say I noticed before but on the way home from work last night I happened to look at the park at the bottom of the village as the bus went passsed and the frame of the swings made a perfect Half-Life lambda cache sign. Can't believe I've never noticed it before.

I'm going to have to remember to pop down there and shoot it next time theres some nice weather.
