I'm putting together an L775 based system, and I want to know if I need a special case and PSU for it to work?

Can I get away with just a cheap case from my local computer store with a 20pin PSU?

P4 are sepically hungry about power requirements, so personally i would get a goo named brand PSU...and make sure it has the 24pin setup.

But why put together a machine now?....AM2 just came out and conroe will be out in a month.

    I would wait.

Its being put together out of my junk kit. I've got an x64 3200 as my main rig, and just throwing this together to sell.

Do not put a Prescott in a junk case unless you're trying to firebomb someone.

I tried that once, it literally burned things black. Was not a pretty sight.

Chip survived, though. I still have it.

I've decided to go with a Yeong Yang case from Xcase.co.uk.
Its only marginally more expensive than a cheapie from my LCS.
