Modding Probably A&A, but I can't find it...

    When replacing case LEDs, I assume I don't really need an inline resistor, since the mobo headers should already be taking care of that, correct?

    correct, they only throw out 3.3 volts or something :)

    That's what I had guessed, but with bl00 LEDs, better safe than sorry. Although the little buggers may be pretty cheap, I'd still rather not waste money.

    no prob mate, you would need to use a resistor if you were powering one from a molex connector :)

    I checked the MB header output for my HDD and power LED's w/ a volt meter and it was 5v.

    There's a variety of different voltage ratings for LED's. You better make sure your replacement LED's match your MB output.

    These are 3.9-4.5 rated ones - methinks I should grab a meter before the old hack-n'-slice job :--)
