Went to a lan party last night, when I connected my PC to the switch, with the switch set to DHCP and static IPs every second a 40% processor usage spike would happen making the PC pause for a split second. Changing ports doesn't help. Under the performance tab of task manager the graph looked like a sawtooth wave. The ethernet post is onboard a DFI Infinity 2 (NF2) motherboard. Latest drivers.
I gave up at around 1am and booted my MacBook into windows which worked flawlessly.

    Any ideas?
    Cheers
