My dedicated rig is running a Athlon II x2 240 crappy i know but I used it to keep costs low! Its just running the standard sys tray cpu client! I tried VMware but it kicked up a stink, I suppose I could try the windows smp client but I like to keep the other core avalable for the GPU's! I may upgrade the cpu to a quad core in the future... If i can be bothered or as im planing an i7 build next year ill have 3 rigs folding.... Meh i'll wait and see :D
My gaming rig is only running one instance of VMware (2400PPD ish) as I still use it while folding! I havnt tried linux before, one day ill give it a shot!
