I have the Klipsch Promedia 5.1s. I am having a problem where the sounds only come out of the subwoofer and are really low and muffled. I am sure that all the wires are in correctly.

It happened with the default wires also. I am going to recheck the connections.

Could the problem be somewhere in my subwoofer itself? I am thinking of maybe sending this set back to Klipsch to see if they can fix it or not. I will look into sending it back, but I want to see if you guys can help me fix it first.

Had the same thing happen to a set of Altecs I had a few years ago. I ended up having to replace the input jack on the amp which was built into the subwoofer. The plug wasn't seating in the jack correctly. Cheap, easy fix.

Where could I buy one of these input plugs? Is there anything I can do to figure out where the problem is?

Radio Shack (gasp!) is the easiest place to get them - about $4. On mine I figured it was the jack because the plug was REAL loose and if I wiggled it, the sound would come in and out.
