Processor Speed

Discussion in 'Hardware' started by ~<(MoD-Urn)>~, 4 Feb 2002.

  1. Hey guys, need a quick fix/solution to a problem we are having at work. There are about 50 systems we can't physically get to due to security reasons. The systems are on our domain and can be seen and controlled from our servers. What I need to do is determine what processor speed these systems are running at in order to fill out our life-cycle management forms. Is there any software available that might work with Hyena or something like that, that will determine the processor speed?

SiSoft Sandra will be able to tell you everything you need or want to know about those machines if you can install and run it remotely.
Woah dude if they are your computers cant you just go and have a look at em? Or are you a techie on the CIA mainframe and you *could* go look at those computers, but then the men in black would have to kill you ;)

  4. Via GoverLAN yes, but that will take a lil while. Well, to be honest, yes I would be taken away by the MIB's if I venture into those rooms un-escorted by the room supervisor. It wouldn't be too hard to get access to the rooms during normal duty hours, but our clients are at a different site due to construction :(
