    Hi,

    I was wondering if web pages these days have lines in their code that indicate what program they were made in. If so, I was wondering how I can remove any "made with DreamWeaver" evidence. Advice?

    I don't believe there are tags in page coding that specify what program was used to write them. All that's in a webpage is what the designer or coder puts into it, so unless you actually wrote that into the code (which admittedly you won;t have much of if using DW) it won't be there.

    Look at the meta tags in the page header. Some programs, like the old FrontPage used to add a generator tag like this:

    Code:
    <meta name="generator" content="frontpage">

    Otherwise, if the site was made in notepad, then don’t expect to find anything. Basically, if you want to remove WYSIWYG evidence, open the pages in notepad and check the tags.
