wh0a, great work dude, awesome case i really like this plexi in the front, i was planning to use it in my next project, but hey, plexicube must be finished before =P
Awsome work man the front bezel just looks wicked love the beveled plexi on the drives and especially on the bottom near the front blowhole Awsome man so whats next ?
Thise drive bays are kickass! Maybe you oculd polish some metal and put it behind the plexi, make the front shiney!
Very nice job. I love the window on the side. Sort of like "I'll give you a glimpse of my l33tness" What happened to doing the inkjet transparencies though? Still going to happen, or was that left on the drawing board? Wish I could get along with my project as well as you did. No money though....But I'll take donations
I made the changeover to ATX. You can read about the details in past updates of this log I used double sided carpet tape. It seems to hold quite well. I decided against the transparencies. I was really gung ho to use them, but the main reason I chose not to was because the window was longer than a standard sheet of transparency. So there'd be an unsightly seam where the two pieces join up. To everyone else: Thanks for your kind words, <3 <3
Yes To tell you the truth i didnt fallow this project much cause at first it didnt or i didnt think it was going to even lead to what it became today. Its a beautifull case and i like what u did with it. good job and we all can be wrong sometimes keep up the good work
Very nice case..... Been thinking about doing it myself, but as usual i never get it done. One thing i would change was all the screws.... I would only use them on the drive bays...
Sweet case dude! Very good work and a very detailed worklog! From the looks of the pics, you are a drummer too! So that makes you extra cool like me!!!! (been a drummer basically since birth) Oh well, keep it up and ROCK ON!!!!!!! Randy
anyone know were i can get a tower case like that????? dont like ebay but any computer shops that dea in old stuff etc well done on the case i can see alot of sweat blood and tears has went into that case!
wow, done a great job of that. definitely much better than it looked on the plan, in my opinion. the industrial look of the bolted drive bays and the fan controller work really well. do atx motherboards fit into at towers or did u have to convert it? im guessing the later. sorry, if this question has already been convered.
magnificent case did you polish the frame? Looks real nice and shiny (I'm working on an AT -> ATX conversion myself now)
