the m/b cover looks fantastic.
Any answer for this ?
Now I understand how do you plan to fix it, and yes, even here the max height is 30mm :-(
In this case, I wish I had a lathe for christmas... LOL
nice work modsquad
i was also wondering about the mobo-cover
Welcome to the forums XPro..
these should work..
If not, very small (M3 I think) countersunk bolts would be the plan of action..
More real-work stuff in my life.. It's like 60F in the SlaughterHose (and 25F outside).. Waiting for the Heating-Guy to call back..
Lots more to show-and do..
ASAP.. (a pretty cool picture IMHO)..
My first post in quite some time (sorry, real-world stuff)..
NO- work to report, but some back ordered IL gear arrived:
the last of the "ladies" rings I ordered
for those you have "lost-track", these rings are/will be covers for the 8/10mm compression fittings used through-out the loop.
also a bronze belt-buckle
AND- a BoX from Detroit Bros.
polished aluminum gas-tank caps..
With "any-luck" I should get some work done before the weekend is FIN..
wow nice, so MS do we even want to know how much you have spent so far
I just think he has to be wary of gangs of magpies wanting to fly away with his shiney PC.
lol, ^ good one ledbythereaper
I wish Larry was here to see this. You should show pictures to his wife, Bambi when it's finished.
I may not have known Larry or have much of an idea who he is, but I have to say this is a fitting tribute to obviously a great man.
I like-to think Larry can "see-this"..
yes, I will email some FIN-pics to Larry's better-half..
SORRY to say, no-progress this past weekend. Major real-world stuff is happening in my life at this point in time.. BR is secondary - at best..
I do have time to think. My mind has countless-ideas for the project, and ideas are whats all about.. Without them, "it's a Dell"......
So-Please, give me the benefit of the doubt.. Stay-tuned... What I can promise is what I have been doing.. A true "step by step" PL..
Watched a documentary on Indian Larry, he lived a interesting life.
Do you actually make anything yourself? (not in a rude way) Or you buy very expensive bits and stick them on? lol Either way, looks stunning.
I have no-way of making parts like the ones I am using for the project but, you do have to come up with the ideas to integrate the parts into the project.
The only hand made stuff is/will be the metal work inside the case..
one word...WOW. keep up the good work. I love the idea of the mobo cover btw. Also can't wait for those gas caps to be used.
Love your mod style, but i think that your case will be UN-MOVE-ABLE (with this ton of things)
But one more times, keep up the good work man.
Thanks 3000M and welcome to the forums!
True, the BOX was a weight (bathroom scale) of 30 (US) pounds... It's not (or should I say will-be) a LAN-box.. That's for sure..
SORRY to say.. Another week has past-by, and no-progress to report..
only MT beer bottles.. Major-league real world issues hang over my head. Honestly, I am close to saying NO-Mas..
The pole results are what keep me going.. Next update, ASAP..... Sorry, but that is the best I can-do at this point in time..
Note the skull reflection in the beer bottle. Great job MS! think we can get a spy photo of the overal progress of the case?
Done Raymus (thanks for posting)..
this is what (I) see
Take you time and do what's important, real life is always more important than a metal box that can't love you back, no matter how cool it is. Updates come when they happen and no matter how often we're always welcome that they do, and understanding when they're delayed or late. We like seeing your work because it's a spectacular example of an excellent case mod but your membership in the community is more than just a mod so there's no need to apologize for anything.
