    UPDATE 28

    Back again!

    Quetion: Which piece anoys you?

    Exactely
    [IMG]

I hated it so I had to replace it. A few € and $ later and I had a new fictim.

A cheap ATX-case. As with more things, it all goes about its back.

    Inside
    [IMG]

    Even with removable mobo-tray!
    Drawing
    [IMG]

    Removing the old one
    [IMG]

But while I was grinding, the postman came by!

Lots of stuff ;) Well protected though.

    Finally!

These will be turned into reservoirs.

Time for plexie. I made a lot of ALu-moalds (?) to get the perfect shape.

    cutting
    [IMG]

    same treatment
    [IMG]

A couple of leds later et voila!

Not bad é? Its a lot more subtile in real life but you know I haven't got such a good cam ;)
    Next time these!

Wait! Don't click me away yet, there's more.

    Watercooling!

    I love that giant radiator.

    A little list:

    -Black Ice 480 GTX Extreme
    -6 8/10 turns
    -7 (8x10)
    -2 T peaces(8/10)
    - Glowmotion green

Rest of the stuff will come later.

A radiator needs cooling off course.

    Here it will come.

And with the fanguard > not done yet.

    Not bad!

    Still more.

Nice mesh! It's actually racing mesh for in cars.

And that's the real end from this update. Hope you like it. At least I do ;)

Your updates are as big as that case. If you don't finish it soon you might wake up to find a family of squatters living in it. -especially now that it has light and plumbing.

Thank you! Glad you like it all. And now you also know why it is so big: It's going to house A LOT! There will actually be 2 loops:

    Loop 1: Laing DDC 1t > CPU,GPU,NB > 480GTX > Home made reservoir
Loop 2: Laing DDC 1t > VRM's, HD's and maby more if I have the money for it > 360. rad > Home made reservoir

So there you have it ;) That's all for the future though. First some nice caseconstructing.

    UPDATE 29

Here we go again! A nice big update to satisfie you all out there ;) I found out that it's going to take a lot of time to treat all the plexi well and solder the more than 200 leds!

    First supllies!

    Graphic LCD
    [IMG]

It doesn't work yet because some wires came lose during the transporting. But I'll fix that at the end.

Plexiwork! To create some depth in the case, am I using more ''layers'' of plexie and ALu. So I made a big logo for on the window.

Result. It rained when I was cutting so you see some rain ;)

Then some shiny stuff! Why do I use this and don't polish the whole stuff?

-This is far more lighter. I'm using 2 mm ALu. It becomes a sandwich of 2mm ALu + 5mm plexie + 2 mm ALu which would result in a 9mm thick panel! A bit overdone.
-This is far more less work.
-It gives me the same effect.
-It's replecable. When there will be some scratches on it, I can just remove it and put some new stuff one it.
-You've got everywhere the same result.

    The bad side:
    -It's expensive
    -It's hard to get right
    -It's hard to photograve ;)

Altough the die-hard modders maybe would go for polishing, will there also be a lot of them who think: Hey! That isn't as bad as it sounds! At least, I hope you do ;)

    Just begin.

With the protective firm still on it. This will be removed with case-assembly.

    Then some leds!

    Results! :)

    On the case
    [IMG]

The leds are even so bright that they shine trough the firm! I've got a solution for that though.

Next I made a mock up for the front. But dind't made any pics from the results ;)

Then I atteched the new and fresh mobo-tray. Forgotten that in the last update trough all the excitment.

Toen aftekenen waar plexie moest komen.

    More plexi.

    And another little piece
    [IMG]

I just skip some photo's because I think you'll al know how I treatend it ;) So here I'm bussy with leds again.

    Turn it on!

This is the backplate btw. As you see, I'm trying to get details everywhere.

And also made the mesh fit.

Also bought some wire. Just cheap speaker-wire but it works briljantly for all those leds.

That's it again! See you next time and thanks for reading :)
