only about 9 cm. DAMN thats tight. how about using mini itx mobos http://www.mini-itx.com/store/?c=2 and a special via riser http://www.mini-itx.com/store/?c=8#p1906 that will be usefull and small (i recommed this mobo because it support mpeg4 http://www.mini-itx.com/store/?c=444#p1628 )
I think ill defenitely have to get a mini-ITX board, and one of those pci flexable riser cards, so i can relocate the PCI TV tuner, unless i find an external one to use. ill also need to find a small psu, that may be hard, unless ive got one taht i can just take the casing off. ill measure some of the psus ive got lying around.
Whoa tiny!! but i think i have one thatl work fine. i also found a micro-ATX (244mm by 200mm) at a local store with a AMD XP2200+ for only 170 bucks canadian, so i might get that because it wil fit fine. the cheapest mini itx would have cost me 185 with shipping, so it wasnt worth it for only a 500mhz proc, and im tight for cash.
i have seen a test of this riser where it was running on a atx mobo with 2 pci devices without loosing speed of both pci cards so it works on all mobos.
Ok, ive been looking at tv tuners, and all the ones ive found with remotes are sort of crappy except some really expensive ones from ATi, but i was wondering if anyone knows of a USB remote that i can program to change channels on my bell expressvu reciever? i really dont want to have to use 2 remotes to watch tv, thatd just be plain annoying.
ati is making separate usb remote that works with the most tv tuner programs. i think their name is remote wonder something
yeah but im talking about my satellite reciever. I was looking at the snapstream firefly, but that only works for the computer, not for computer AND satellite recievers.
