I posted the finished case in the modding section, but I've been asked to post a worklog on it, so here's what I scrounged up from various other forums I had worklogs on. Some things are missing, but if You have any questions about the mod, feel free to ask!

The Tower as it was before:

This was it compared to a normal sized ATX comp I had lying around.

The inside of the FULL SERVER TOWER!

The front, Notice the spaces for 90(back),80 and 120mm fans...

Heres What I plan to do to the beast of a tower:

Of course the picture was disproportionate, but it would turn out very similar.

I soon got rid of the rear fan grill:

I also cut out a large chunk of the top of the chasis:

I soon had the chasis painted Matt Black:

I soon cut out the Right Panel’s windows:

Heres the left panel after I had cut out the windows, and started to apply the paperboard:

I sleeved the PSU (UV green for that Borgish glow)

I also added an acrylic PSU cover:

The right panel in the early stages of paperboard:

    The Top:

I made an Acrylic front panel, here it is in the middle of development:

A close up of the “Optical Implant”

    The front being primed:

    Then painted:

After everything was painted and assembled, It pretty much came together!

After it was pretty much finished, Mike from CPU Mag asked me if I’d like it featured in the latest edition of PC Modder, and well, why wouldn’t I?

So here’s the poorly scanned article:

It took a heck of a long time, and a lot of time and work, but its finally done.

Nice work dude! Looks like a Borg theme case. Maybe a little big to me and dislike the (now so common) green UV plexy and wires, but overall its a impressive job.

Well, its a short Log of my work, even though its finished.
I posted it originally in Modding, and was asked by other members to make a log... Its not great, because I've lost many of the pics over the last 8 months of contruction, but its a log none-the less.

It is a Borg Themed case, and when I started it, the green wasnt overdone.. lol Thats how long it took.

    Nice project.
I saw it in PC Modder, also in some LAN party images, but I forgot where.

Looks very death-starish :D good work, and it's fine in here as a project log so long as you've posted progress, which you have :) congrats on the mag article
