with most home made cnc routers you will make, the grantry will break or the bit will before you make the material shoot out.
its not going to matter anyways because he obviously isnt going to finish it since it has been 6 months since he posted
Far more probable is that he finished the machine (to some extent at least), but he has moved on to other things in life than modding and bit-tech. Still I'd like to hear from him at least to make sure he's all right. And if he decides to show us some pictures of this great mod, I surely wouldn't object to that
Actually, it was post #228 he stopped at. He's a forum mod over at cnczone, you could always go over there and ask him what happened to this 'mod' he is fairly active there. luvbug
Actually, I think they meant he stopped on his total number of post which is 666, not his last post in this thread which is #228.
CNC Information on Homebrew CNC I like the thread. Plenty of CNC information on building your own. I have build both a CNC Plasma Cutter and CNC Router. I took the time and spent the money. Both are "hobby" versions but are a little more robust then most. After I got done, I started doing projects. Here are some videos of those projects: CNC Video Tutorials Have a good one, Ivan Irons http://www.cncinformation.com
Here is his log over on CNC Zone: http://www.cnczone.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6452 Same thing as here. Here is his profile, if anyone wants to PM and ask: http://www.cnczone.com/forums/member.php?u=3209 -CollinstheClown
