And my first post is done!

    Hello everybody...

I'm Jordy Vereecken, 17 years old and from Belgium...
This is my first mod ever! I started it about 6 months ago.
And it was finished but cause I thought it was not functional enough en made to much noise I decided to remod it and put it on BitTech.net

Since I got a passion for "Jump" music I wanted to make a case who is completely build around this passion...

The original case was a Aopen HQ08
    http://www.slo-tech.com/testi/hq08/hq081.jpg

I wanted to have some cool looking details at my frame...

This was the case after some modification
    [IMG]

I wanted to have some cool looking paint... SO I got myself some Blue diamant paint for the front...

This was my original idea to create something where I can put my cables behind and that is a little bit 'special'. But this is gonna change because it's not practical to use...

    What's this?
    It's my mirrormod... Imo it's nice :D

    The front...

I also wanted to get some 'blingbling' in my case... here is the result... Imo it looks quite good but a little bit cheap... I'm searching fot some carbon fiber but I can't find it anywhere
    [IMG]

    The front wth the fans...

    My other cut-out...

    My homemade CCFl Controller
    [IMG]

    Some shots

And now the real project... As I already said I'm not pleased with the functionality of the case and the finishing touch of the case... SO I decided to restyle my case to become more functional and more silence...

Offcoure I needed to strip the case again...

I got myself some racing wirenetting for the details...

Here I hope it will keep some dust out off my case Cause those fans are really dustsuckers
    [IMG]

    Now the modding starts

The mobotray was full of roughness so I wanted to make it smooth...

And here I started to fill it up with filler...

    So that's all...

You'll see an update of me soon...

    Stay tuned!

it looks pretty good, but what is with the side panel cutout? imo, it looks like stewart from mad TV, "Look what I can do!" or one of the old "oh what a feeling" commercials. im having a hard time seeing what the person is doing. other than that, the mod looks great. the front vents look like they took quite a bit of time and the playboy bunny cutout is something i havent seen before and is very clean.

The guys is original from this one

Jump is a music style... Can be compared with a little bit hardstyle but hardstyle is much harder...

The guys is doing a pose of a 'jumper dancing'

    A small update today...

I putted the racing netwiring... I like the result

I also putted my HDD Rack where I wanted it.. Right in front of the 120mm cooler so the HD will be nicely cooled :D . I used and old HDD and mobo to test it :)

    Not much more to say...

Tomorrow I hope I can do another update

I've been following the whole mod on a Dutch forum and I must say it's damn nice  .

As it is his 'first' mod, I think the fact that he combines a variety of things in one case is rather positive. :thumb:

I'm not sure you will find 'real' carbon, but if the surface behind is smooth, you can try out some carbon texture vinyl maybe?
Some ppl have used it before, with pretty good results
