Planning Project: Torque ( Start Time At 15 Jan 2009 )

Hi guys. How are you ? I hope every one is good.

Okay After too many bad projects I did last years, And after learning and looking to other guys projects. I decided to start my own project

Why I will start at 15 Jan 2009 ? Because that I don't have free time because school exams. After that I will have holiday so I can mod as much as I want. Also I want to take my time to plan what I will do.

First thing I want to talk about is the case, Because I have general plans I made but didn't do it on this case. The case I picked is the Gigabyte Triton 180.

Why This name ? Because I like the sound of the word. It's not top of the line PC but it's like an Old Mustang and With some mods it will be amazing. Same thing with this case. ( Maybe will change the name if I come up with some thing better ).

Why this specific case ? First of all I want mid tower case to be small and compact. Second The price for this case that I can get locally is good, Because if I want to ship any other case it will cost me the double, So it don't' worth it. Third this case is not that bad, With little bit modding and it will be perfect. Fourth It's light weight. Fifth it has too much space for my hardware and good air flow after modding.

So yeah. I want to hear from you guys. and see what your ideas and comments about my first introduction idea. Tomorrow I will post the case diagram idea

The model looks clean and suitable for the name "Torque". What kind of cooling are you planning? Anythng else "Special" that you are planning for this mod?

I'm going to use Air cooling but in silent way and a lot of special things and special hardware.

The bad news nope because I didn't put my hands on an airbrush because I tried every thing to ship it to here and no luck. SO I will use normal spray cans but not cheap ones.


First of all to do in that case is the HD racks I'm going to buy that 4 in 3 HD rack and hook it with the case body, Also those 2 front intakes to make good air flow.

With paint I will go ( Black - White ) Theme. With some White flames, and white fans ( enermax clusters ) and some white leds too, must bring this case to life.

Right now I really don't have time to develop the ideas that I have. But I will have time soon

I made this thread to keep my going when I tell my self to delay. So it's like I have dead line have to take care of, and a lots of guys waiting to see my work.

It will happen trust me I really want this project more than any one ..

 

Man, I like how you're planning so far in advance and giving yourself the deadline! I look forward to seeing it, and especially what is "Torqued"! (Makes me think of twisted metal)
