Case Mod - Complete Project: Tt X ROG Mechanicore

Hi guys!

I'm Von Carlo Rasonabe A.K.A. Reapervon, I will represent Japan in this year's modding contest.

My entry for this year's competition is inspired by the Mecha and I named it

"Tt X ROG Mechanicore".

The Tower 900

 

Removing the bottom panel.

 

Installing sliding rails that will be used for the side weapon and radiators.





Meet one of the best inspiration for this project I really like this robot and he will be the pilot of this project. ^^













DIY aluminum mounting bracket for the side weapon.















I always like to use anything in modding as long as I like it, so I can create something cool that will make me happy.

Here's a 3d printed weapon that will be modded later. ^^

 

I just installed 2 hinges at the back that will be used later.

This is the way I do mods, always love to play with the PC parts especially when I want it to be part of my design.



















I think I am very happy with what I've seen here, really love the ROG OC Panel and the Case Fan in front.

Now, it's time to make a new front panel.

Railgun Water Channel

 

Using aluminum sheets and bars for the railgun frame and mounting brackets.

 

Cut, bend and create the front panel. Aluminum materials will always be my favorite when it comes to semi scratch/scratch build.

 

I really want a Laser Cutter or CNC, but I still don't have the money to buy these machines and all I can do is to cut them all by a hand saw or by a scrollsaw, but I'm still happy with results.

 

Now it's time for the gpu and pump mounting brackets!

 

I'm using a 3mm aluminum sheet for the gpu and pump mounting bracket.

I've painted the railgun frame with black and it looks good to me now.
