Project : umm...noName =/ [Chassi etc. are on the way]

    Well, this is my second post and first thread here at b-Tech.net :)

    When i started this project for about 4 months ago, i had everything, in detail, planned in my sci-fi head :)

    Here is a list of things that i`ll by in denmark next month :
    Four 15cm blu neonpipes
    Three 80mm fans
    Two 120mm fans
    Rounded scsi cables
    Watercooling system (if i cant find i make one myself :thumb: )

    And here is a tiny little list of things that i got now, but not in the comp.
    Netgear 4-port router
    120 red led`s

    HardWare that i`ll buy in 2 months
    P4 2.8 ghz Northwood
    Two Original 512mb DDR-Ram
    200gb HDD

    Here is the router i`m gonna use "naked", the chipset will be hung up in the roof of the chassi, the ports and LED`s will be lenghted to the front of the chassi so i can see the network activity

    Tis a tad large. Not a huge deal, but would be nice if further pictures were posted at a more reasonably size (say 400 or 640 pixels wide?)

    Looking forward to more details of the project!

    Please try to follow the rules and keep the images down to 600x400 pixels-it makes it much easier on us dialup users :) And you dont really lose much quality reducing the image to 60-100 Kilobytes :D

    Well :p I resized the image 50% from 1700x 13?? :p
    Further pictures will be submitted as the project grows :)

    Ya that is the correct word. U se one to cool my vid card ramsinks because they get really hot.

    *update*

    Well, here is another update for my server.gone.wild project :)

    The router is dissambled and soon it will be hung upp in the chassis roof.

    Here is some things that are going to be bought in 1 month :)

    New update

    Weel, it`s been a while since i wrote here at b-tech.

    Here is the new list of components for my computer.
    • New mobo [done]
    • New chassi
    • 3 blue 80mm LED fans
    • 2 Blue CCFL pipes
    • New graphics card
    • 1024mb Ram [50% done (512mb)]
    • New HDD

    The chassi i will use is an "Chieftec DA-01SL-D Dragon FullTower Silver" ->

    Cause i`ll be using blue cathodes and fans.

    And to the part with the Graphicscard i havent desides wich yet, its between these to right now ->

    Okey, here is a new update for this mod.

    I`ve been a bit quiet for some time now due to the schoolstart (high school).
    Some of the parts i have ordered im going to pick up on wednesday.
    The things that ive ordered are :


    • Chieftec DA-01sl-D Dragon Fulltower silver
    • Connect3d Radeon 9600 128mb
    • Bitsmodding Cold Cathode light-kit red 30cm
    • + Bitsmodding Cold cathode pipe red 30cm
    • Hitachi Deskstar 160gb hdd
    • Gigabyte 3d cooler 23.7dbA
    • 3 Antec red led-fan 80x80mm
    Cost : 4444 SEK (about 450 USD)

    I dont have any clue WHAT to cut out on the side of the chassi. I dont want any original window that looks like a square or something like that, but i was wondering about the Halo2 logo or maybe the Half-life2 logo. (Yes i know that its much HL2 right now, but im out of ideas)

    I`ll post some picks on wednesday when the package arrives @ home.
