Im rebuilding my pc soon (yay for xmas bonuses) and i have everything decided upon except the PSU. (Im going with HAF 922, Logitech G5/G11, Blu-ray drive, another monitor).

    I saw this:

    http://www.ebuyer.com/product/159060

but i can find a grand total of 1 review of it - it sounds good, has decent features (i hate that my current power supply is not modular), and is fairly cheap. my budget for the PSU is 90-100 quid.

    I also saw this:

    http://www.ebuyer.com/product/134677

Which i know you guys love but the lack of modular goodness puts me off slightly.

    Requirements:

    90-100 quid
    preferably modular
4 PCI-e connectors (yay for crossfire)
    at least 650-700w

    anyone got any recommendations?

I just recently built myself a new computer and I went with the TX750 from corsair, I got a pretty good deal on it, and after reading the bit-tech review of it where it scored 10/10 I was convinced.

So far its really quiet and is working perfectly for my OC'ed i7 and 5850.

The only real complaint i have is that it comes with a crazy amount of cables, but since i have the haf922 case i just bunched the unused cables and zip-tied them behind the mobo tray so they're out of sight.

    Hope this helps.

Why not just get a HX650? At least that way you know you're getting decent quality and customer service rather than taking a gamble. Plus it has a single +12V rail and is 80+ bronze certified, whereas the others are only 80+ certified.

i am aware of that thread, unfortunately price is an important factor and that list doesnt have any (even rough prices). hence my asking for peoples opinions.

Corsair or Bequiet are your best bets.

Have you considered a Enermax LibertyEco.

If you don't like the look of that a Corsair HX or BeQuiet Dark Power would do just as well.
