PWND Teaser Trailer PWND is an utterly ridiculous 3v3 arena rocket shooter, the premise is simple: rocket jump your way around and then elaborately teabag downed enemies for points! It's currently in closed beta (sign up on the website) and set to go live, Early Access, this month (July 2017). It should come as no surprise, from looking at videos, this is made by the same team who were responsible for the Borderlands 2 Torgue DLC. I've been in the alpha/beta for a while now and it's a lot of silly fun to play, but the only downside is they're not really advertising it and hardly anyone knows about it. SteamDb showed a whopping 11 whole players online yesterday when I was trying to play Thankfully the official Discord does let you know when 'stress test' events are on and when devs are playing which means you do get some games occasionally! As someone who absolutely hates the toxicity of games online and especially teabagging, it may seem weird that I enjoy this game. But honestly there's something about having it as the objective of the game (also no killcams) that makes it light-hearted fun and nothing to rage about. Even when hinky stuff has happened, I haven't actually experienced any salt in the game yet... Eh.... I considered skipping straight past the thread just from the name, I doubt that will help it even if it is done so with tongue firmly in cheek. The premise and video don't do anything for me; 3v3 seems utterly too small for a shooter, plus once you're past the initial 'humour' of having to teabag the enemy for points, isn't it just like collecting anything else from a downed opponent? Also, isn't it 'pwned'? [/grump]
