Ok i'm not sure this would be the right place to post this but i figured it would get seen by the right people here.

So my little Bro and his gf were over today and they were making shrinkydinks. they showed me one and i was instantly like that would make a great butten. The fact that the things shrunk did not impress me much but it was the fact that they got thick like 1/16 inch. also one side of it became glossey. So being the person i am i went over there and stoll a sheet of blank whatever and ran it through my printer (opposed to them using markers) and got this.

once it was shrunk and that.
and of course to my luck mine got a bubble in it.

that image was printed as transparincy on normal quality so it can get better.
but to illistrate the thickness this is a pic of my bro's next to a pencle

So i was thinking well i was doinf this that this would be great for all those people that want to make touch panels for the QT110's and their kin.

ok first look at the link. how they work i don't know. but what you do is you go to the store and buy a packet and it has like 10 sheets in it like 8"x10" then what you do is on the rough side of the sheet you draw/print the mirror image of what you want. then you cut it out if needed and you stick it eather in this stupid machine which is like an easy back oven or if it's to big stick it on a baking sheet and put it in the oven. the image then shrinks down to like 1/2 it's orignal size and it gets thick as well.

    there: that good for you?

the stuff is basically heatshrink sheets

you can make fun stuff with them for kids

most of the stuff you can make is only 2 dimensional

might be fun to use this in a mod somewhere
