Windows quake 1

    argh!!! i just installed quake one again just to see how it runs on my pc after years of it being on the shelf, to discover that it doesnt run atall!!!! i have tried all the executables but nothing works!!! i am useing win xp at the moment so i dunt know if it is win xp being gay or what, someone please help me p[lay this classic once again!

    I'm not 100% this will help but it's worth a try... At least MS admitted Quake doesn't work properly in XP instead of trying to blame ID!!!

    Try playing quake on a high spec pc with windows me or summin and it goes welll fast. As in shotgun firing like a machine gun
