Well, I've gotten down to the home stretch of my pc buildup, but was stupid enough not to think about this earlier. I've got a MicroATX mobo, and an ATX power supply. Anyplace in the USA that sells a converter plug? This would be kind of nice to have.
Don't need one. The only differences between mATX and ATX is size. All the plugs and connections are exactly the same.
If you've got 24 pins from the ATX lead on your PSU... You've bought a server styled PSU, and you need a pin converter for that. The other poster's right, mATX and ATX are the same except for size, basically.
i thought newegg had 24 to 20 pin converters ..cant find em there now ... a lot of the new psu's have 24 pin now, and lack the 4 pin P4 connector ...going to be a regular thing for the 775 boards and BTX also ... http://www.power-on.com/connectors-adapters.html <-- first one i found googled for "24 to 20 pin connector"
Thanks tk421, that'll help a bunch. I know that google helps, but I was just curious as to if anyone had dealt with getting one before. That's why I asked before I went searching hardcore.
