I've been given another XFX Radeon 5770 off a friend who has upgraded his pc.

I've just installed it but I'm now worried about power supply.

I've got a modular Antec true power 650. Running an i5 system with 8gb ram and a asus xonar dg audio card drawing power as well.

    What I'm wondering is

    1) will my psu handle both cards?
    2) do I need to connect the second card power on the same 6 pin cable (I.e. The slave connection or whatever it's called) or do I need to connect another 6 pin cable to my modular psu and juice the second card with that.?

    Responses ASAP would be great.

    Thanks in advance.

The Antec will easily handle 2 5770's. I expect you could run them off the same cable but personally I'd prefer to have a more balanced configuration so that each card was drawing from a separate rail.

I don't think you'll have problems either way.

Thanks for clarifying that. Okay I'll connect with seperate cables. Cheers.
