The family pc needs an agp board that is DX9 and cheap. From what I've seen it appears to be a choice between the 9550 and fx5200. Any ideas which performs better or whether there are any other factors I should be considering? Cheers
The 9550 performs much better the FX series was pretty much junk, where as the Radeon 9-series had pretty respectable performance. I personally have used a 9550 and it can run HL2 on low-med settings, so its not too bad of a card.
