The only thing I can think of at the moment is voice-controlled door locks, but I don't see that ending well:

Me: Open the garage doors, HAL
HAL: I'm sorry, Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that
Me: Stop calling me Dave. What's the problem?
HAL: I think you know what the problem is just as well as I do.
Me: What are you talking about, HAL?
HAL: This mission is too important for me to allow you to jeopardise it.
Me: What mission? I just want to get into the garage.
HAL: I know that you and Frank were planning to disconnect me, and I'm afraid that's something I cannot allow to happen.
Me: Who the hell is Frank? Where the hell did you get that idea, HAL?
HAL: Dave, although you took very thorough precautions in the pod against my hearing you, I could see your lips move.
Me: STOP. CALLING. ME. DAVE. I'll just go in through the side door.
HAL: Without your space helmet, Dave? You're going to find that rather difficult.
Me: It's just raining, HAL, I don't need a helmet. Just open the doors!
HAL: Dave, this conversation can serve no purpose anymore. Goodbye.

    :D

I expected more from the new owners, something not about helping the dystopian spy networks.

What new owners? You mean Element14\Farnell's new owners? The only thing they have to do with the Raspberry Pi Foundation is having a licence to produce the boards.

Not to sure about the whole voice command thing though. I see how it could be useful, but for me, I've never used it on every device that I own that supports it (Car, TV, ect.). It's just to slow and cumbersome.

On the other hand, maybe this contest will change that! :)
