    Right, so spend a fortune on extra leccy, shorten the life of your GPU and have to wait a year or more to pay for what you want to buy...

    Just buy it now, or save-up, either way you'll get it quicker with real money and not knacker your GPU.

    Not if your parents are paying for the electricity, and perhaps the PC as well.

    Kinda clever if you ask me - get 12 year-olds to cane it at their parents' expense so that they can go buy some l33t RGB mouse next year. They're unlikely to be able to open an account on a real crypto exchange after all.

    Not entirely proud of it looking back but I used to mine bitcoin with my PC 24/7, using free leccy, back in 2012-2013 and used the coin to buy steam games. I even remember buying borderlands 2 for nearly a whole bitcoin :duh:
