Short of taking the stick out of the slot and counting the pins, how can I tell if I have DDR or normal SDRAM?

    Whats the mobo?

SDRAM cannot run in DDR slot, so check the slots.

    They're keyed differently.

    SDRAM and DDR

If you can't take it out for one reason or another - do you know the make/model of the motherboard?

Wootness, I have DDR! It's not anything great, but at least I can use it with the mobo I'm (hopefully) getting for x-mas.
