Hey Looking to purchase a LCD screen just wondering if anyone had any reccomendations? I'm looking for 32", and up to £400 (cheaper the better) but looking for value for money ones here... just wondering if there are any bargains out there at the moment? Wondering if anyone could help!! Responses appriciated.
Is it the size or the budget which is the restricting factor? Only... somebody on the Hexus forums linked to this 42'' Technika LCD42-207 HD LCD TV for just £400 in their 'Bargains' section Here's some blurb on it: The Technika LCD42-207 42 High Definition LCD TV comes complete in black and its features includes sleep timer, a digital tuner, parental lock and fast text. This television operates with Virtual Dolby surround sound quality and has a visible screen size of 106cm. This TV is also wall mountable. Curry's are selling what looks like (in their TV advert) a very nice 32" LG LCD TV for £400 [/edit]
Cool, thanks for that Got something else I forgot to mention, wanting 720p -- around the £400 mark area and 32" I think would be best... 42" is too big - looks like a good deal though (the Technika!) Anyone else?
I can heartily recommend the samsung pebble-type panels. My family/friends have bought the 27", 32", 37" and 42" ones over the past 12 months and they're all fantasticly well built, with great picture quality and awesome software. Highly recommended. [edit]One of these, it's a bit over budget, but with a bit of shopping you should be able to find it.
+1 on Samsung. The company I work for does testing on settop boxes for the US cable TV industry. Our demo room, and most of our reference TVs are ALL Samsung. We do a lot with HD TV and Samsung comes from Korea, the only country that supports US HD TV specs. John

+1 for samsung, i have the 40" 6 series, double your budget, but an awesome tv, im turning into a bit of a samsung fanboy though =/ got a samsung tv, samsung phone, samsung harddrives
I had this Vistron delivered just over a week ago and have been mightily impressed so far for £290.00. The panel is allegedly bought from Samsung and tbh I can't tell the difference between the picture on this and my parents near identical Samsung. The only headaches I've discovered so far are a lack of audio out, it just has a headphone out which cuts off the speakers, and having to force the resolution over dvi/hdmi in the nvidia control panel. Oh I've not discovered a working code yet for the sky remote.
