A good question, considering the choice of a mid-range GPU and this statement in the very next line:

Let's just hope he's not planning on using Windows 7 HP, eh? :D

I suppose something the The Coolermaster 690II would do the job. You could even add in a fan or two if you wish.

Sorry I just feel that's max mobo can handle so if I fill it I know it's running at full potential rather than say have 6th could be bottlenecking it in some way without me realising!

lol seriously...you don't need 24GB of ram if it is a gaming build. Drop the ram from 24GB down to 6GB to save yourself about £240, get a GTX580 instead of 6870 would give you FAR BETTER performance in games.

And yes the CoolerMaster 690II is a very good case...if you are the kind of person enjoy having lots of options for adding additional fans of your choice, not to mention it looks good as well (especially if you get the Windowed side-panel). But if you are an absolute cheap-skate in spending money on getting a case, then you could get the CoolerMaster Elite 430 for £31:

Happysack, you've now made at least three threads about your new computer now. Why not just limit it to one, allow someone to spec it up for you and GET ON WITH IT!

In fact, I just had a go: Ideal computer for £1357

I've only put in 12GB for the moment as I really don't believe you'll need 24GB (even 12GB is debatable) but you can easily double it up. The PSU will also allow Crossfire/SLI down the line.

To everyone else: the i7 950 is now down to £200, making it less than the 930 :eeek: ! Also, Scan are offering a 5870 for £207!

Depends on whether he wants to overclock really, having all of those slots full can kill your OC. Unless you are an A/V professional or analytical scientist or something its pretty much useless, and very expensive.
