It's not fm2+ but the FM2-A75MA-E35 isn't bad. Sata 3 and usb3. Raid support and hdmi

Well, I'm running an x4 750K (stock 3.4GHz) and Turbo puts it at 3.8GHz easily. I've oc'd to 4.2 GHz with no issues. I'm holding back until I get a better cooler but the motherboard is just fine and has loads of overclocking options in the BIOS.

Just be aware that temp monitoring for these new AMD chips, especially the APU's is very buggy. I can't measure my temps properly except with HWMonitor and HWInfo. Coretemp displays 0 degrees. Bios temp monitoring seems to be fine, but I can't put a load on the CPU while in Bios.

I would look at an A88X based FM2+ board tbh , latest chipset and latest feature set - also support for newer cpu / apu

I actually have the afforementioned FM2 board and it's fine, but I'd also be inclined to go with an FM2+ board now unless the price difference is too great or the budget is too tight.

It would be compatible with your current Richland processor, but would give you forwards compatibility with Kaveri and maybe future FM2+ CPU/APUs as well.
